About the Event
National Night Out is a community-building campaign happening annually across the country on the first Tuesday in August that promotes partnerships between the community and local first responders as well as neighborhood camaraderie to make our neighborhoods safer, more caring places to live. National Night Out enhances the relationship between neighbors and first responders while bringing back a true sense of community.
Boulder Creek, and the San Lorenzo Valley at large, has a special place in its collective heart for its first responders. This event is a community celebration of that relationship and a chance for everyone to give thanks for the brave men and women who protect us. It's a chance for the kids in the community to see and get to know their heros in a way that will bring them a greater level of comfort should they ever need aid.
There will be prizes to win, as well. Here's how to win: When you get to the event, come to the BCBA table to get a passport. Then take that passport with you to every agency station at the event. At each station, after learning something about them, the officers will give you a stamp. Once your passport is filled, bring the passport back to the BCBA table and exchange it for a drawing ticket. The drawing will be at 6:30, so be sure to bring it back before then! At 6:30, we'll draw a ticket number for the winners. There's a lof of fun stuff to win - a scooter, pizza, and more! Good luck and have fun!
We hope you will join us and we look forward to seeing you there!
