The Santa Cruz Mountain Bulletin is a volunteer-run independent small town newspaper and online information resource based in Boulder Creek and covering all of San Lorenzo Valley. Featuring local contributors for a look at life in the Santa Cruz Mountains, the SCM Bulletin shares the valley’s voice: Local news, recipes and dining, gardening, health, history, lifestyle, music, politics, community calendar, and action and advocacy on local and national levels. Serving the communities of Ben Lomond, Boulder Creek, Brookdale, Felton, Lompico, Scotts Valley, and Zayante.

Visit the San Lorenzo Valley Museum to keep yourself abreast of our Valley’s colorful history. The museum is located at 12547 Highway 9 in Boulder Creek and is open Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays from 12 noon til 4 pm.

The Boulder Creek Recreation and Park District, or Rec Center as it’s more familiarly known, is a wonderful resource for adults and children alike, with a packed schedule of activities and classes for people of all ages, including the ever-popular Jazzercise.
