About the Event
Have you ever driven through downtown Boulder Creek and thought "that building needs a coat of fresh paint" or "I wish visitors knew about all the historic places that are in Boulder Creek." Do you struggle with internet and cellular connectivity? Do you have a skillset that would be beneficial for fundraising, collaboration or event planning? Are you a music lover and wish there were more frequent shows to go to in town? Do you have an electric car and wish there were places in Boulder Creek to charge it? Are you a business owner and wondering how you can boost your sales? Or how to create a succession plan for when you retire? Or maybe you're wondering how to best capitalize on the increased number of tourists driving through town to get to Big Basin and Castle Rock?
Those are just a few examples of items in the BCBA Work Plan. We invite you to this event to meet the new Board of Directors and Committee Leaders and also to hear from dignitaries who the BCBA has been working with to get projects moving. We'd love to hear from all of you about your ideas and ways that you might be able to help bring the projects to life.
Boulder Creek has historically been somewhat underserved. We are at a turning point where that is being recognized by local offices all the way up to Congress and efforts are underway to make some changes. Changes and upgrades focus on improving our lives and celebrating our history. The best way to succeed is to get the community involved. That means you!! And no contribution is too small. Please join us in this collaborative event and help embelish our work plan so that it reflects what you would like to see happen in town. Better yet, volunteer for projects that you are passionate about!
We'll have an appetizer and refreshment buffet available for you. There will be a cash bar available. And (drumroll.....) purchasing a seat at this event automatically awards you one raffle ticket and a discount to our Annual Dinner & Auction Fundraiser happening on May 18th! We're looking forward to talking and collaborating with you!
