About the Event

The BCBA's annual dinner and auction has been a beloved event for decades. It has grown and adapted many times, but it's still buckets of fun! There are always many auction items that are unique and that inspire impressive bidding wars! Not only do the winners get to take home something (or several somethings) very special, but the do so knowing that the money they spent will help the BCBA achieve many goals that will benefit the community. The project that money goes to might be maintaining the lights on the buildings that make downtown quaint and welcoming. It might be for hosting mixers and ribbon cuttings for new businesses. It might be for purchasing pole banners and barricades and other necessities to make the annual events like the July 4th parade, the Winter Festival and Halloween more festive and more safe. It might be for hosting roundtables with all of our elected officials and other stakeholders to discuss solutions to large infrastructure projects such as broadband, pedestrian safety, and the like. It might be for bringing solutions to business owners for needs such as website building and maintenance, creating a business or succession plan, retaining staff, marketing and more.

We've got you covered there with FREE onsite childcare! Thanks to our local business, Messy Play Kits, we are able to make this incredible offer. They'll be fed and cared for onsite by staff from Camp Campbell.


Our Special Fund centers around pedestrian and traffic safety. The barricades and signs used for the detour route on July 4th as well as other events are well past their lifespan and need to be replaced. To replace all 60 of them with weather-resistant stands that have reflective striping and metal signs, all which will have a much longer lifespan than the current ones, will cost around $8000. Please consider a donation toward this special dedicated fund being a part of your budget for the event and help keep everyone safe during our large town events!




This is all just a glimpse into what the BCBA does throughout the year and we can't do it without your financial support. To show our appreciation of your support, we do our best to make this fundraiser a memorable time with amazing food and a bar stocked with local wines and beers, a gorgeous venue, a lively band, dancing, great guest speakers, free (yes free!) childcare, and outdoor games, weather permitting. Childcare must be reserved no later than March 1st so that provisions such as food and caretakers can be arranged.


We have earlybird tickets available through January, at $60. After that, prices go up to $75. If you sign up for a membership, or renew an existing one, you and a guest get a discounted price of $67.50. Tickets purchased at the event will be $90.
