First Friday Boulder Creek Independence Day

The BCBA added a Block Party on Forest St. to the July 4th festivities a few years ago. The hope with this addition is to add another layer of fun to the day, as well as inviting people to stay in town for a bit after the parade in order to shop the shops, eat at the eateries, and buy from the local artists and other vendors. With First Friday joining in this year, we will also have vendors setting up after the parade along the highway in front of various shops. We hope you'll stop by! Happy 4th!

The BCBA is so excited to be officially joining forces with the First Friday Boulder Creek crew and bringing them on as a committee in the Work Plan! This event, in so many ways, embodies what the BCBA and the community at large are all about! It showcases the uniqueness of the community in the artwork that the vendors bring, it gives attention to the local businesses, it brings folks from surrounding communities to see what Boulder Creek has to offer, it entices attendees to dine at the local restaurants, and it encourages everyone to come back regularly. It's a win-win for everyone!

At First Friday in Boulder Creek, you can find unique arts and crafts at vendor booths throughout the downtown core, food trucks, and most months will include a special activity and/or kid zone on Forest St. When those happen, Forest St. on the west side of Hwy 9 will be closed to traffic and parking for the duration of the event - so, if you normally park in that area, please find an alternative place just for this one day as we'll be closing it off early to allow the vendors to set up.

Would you like to set up as a vendor this month or for a future month? We'd love to find a place for you in the lineup! At your space, you can have a 6' table. Please don't block the walkway around your booth. There needs to be enough room that a wheelchair can easily pass through. Thank you! You may request a specific area, but you are not guaranteed to be placed there. The event coordinators will reach out to confirmed vendors shortly before the event with a map and last minute details.

There is no fee to attend! So bring your family, friends and neighbors out to join in the fun! To be a vendor, you must register and pay for a space. Booth fees are $10 in advance with the deadline each month being 2 weeks prior to the event, and $15 for late entries. There are no refunds if you are unable to attend.
