The Valley Women's Club Environmental Committee Meeting is happening this Saturday, March 2nd, 2024, at the Highlands Park Senior Center at 8500 Highway 9 in Ben Lomond. Speaking at the meeting will be two County representatives, 5th District Supervisor Bruce McPherson and OR3 Director Dave Reid. Among the various topics that the committee will be discussing, Supervisor McPherson will speak to water issues in the San Lorenzo Valley and Director Reid will speak to the County's response to climate change.

The meeting will be broadcast via Zoom for those who cannot attend in person. Because the broadcast may be set up as view only, anyone with questions for the guest speakers is asked to email them to EC Chairwoman, Nancy Macy, at nbbm@cruzio.com prior to the event.

The meeting will begin at 10:30am. Those attending the meeting in person are asked to arrive early in order to park and find a seat prior to the start. Light refreshments will be available.
